Curriculum accademico

Professore Associato di Informatica (INF/01) nel Dipartimento di Scienze della Comunicazione, ha conseguito l'abilitazione a Professore Ordinario in ING-INF/05 (Sistemi di Elaborazione delle Informazioni). I suoi campi di ricerca includono la teoria dei codici e l'intelligenza artificiale. Si occupa inoltre dell'implementazione di algoritmi di signal processing e pattern recognition, di logica fuzzy, reti neurali e algoritmi genetici. Ricercatore a tempo determinato art. 24 c.3-b L. 240/10 (2016-2019) e L. 230/2005 (2009-2012) in Informatica presso l'Università di Teramo, ha svolto attività di ricerca nell'ambito dell'ottimizzazione di sistemi controllo e progetto database presso l'Osservatorio Astronomico di Collurania "V. Cerulli" di Teramo. Editore di volumi Springer, Elsevier e CRC Press, Associate Editor delle riviste, IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence, IEEE Access, Array (Elsevier), International Journal of Machine Learning and Cybernetics (Springer), è membro del Machine Intelligence Research Labs (MIR Labs). Curriculum english version

Associate Professor of Computer Science at the Department of Communication Sciences, he achieved the qualification as Full Professor in Information Processing Systems. His research is on coding theory and artificial intelligence. Moreover, he is interested in signal processing, patterns recognition, fuzzy logic, neural networks and genetic algorithms. Assistant Professor in Computer Science from 2009 to 2012 at the University of Teramo, he has developed research activity on control systems optimization and database design at the Astronomic Observatory Collurania "V. Cerulli" of Teramo.
