Law - Double Degree

From the A.Y. 2026-27, the Law - Single-Cycle Degree (5 years) - of the University of Teramo offers the possibility to enrol in the curriculum that allows to achieve the Double Degree with the Yerevan Haybusak University (Yerevan, Armenia).

A Double Degree

A Double Degree, known also as dual or combined degree, allows you to be enrolled in parallel in two study programs developed in two universities (your own university and the "host" one located in another country) so you can gain a more comprehensive knowledge of the specific disciplines. Part of the study program must be carried out at the hosting university, and by studying abroad, you will enrich your learning experience and enhance your personal and professional skills from a European or international perspective.

A dual degree is a worthwhile endeavour and can be beneficial for your future professional career, even if it demands a little more commitment and self-discipline, as well as excellent time management skills, as you adapt to alternative teaching styles and overcome language barriers. Each university provides for the offer of all the courses and of the activities necessary to achieve the qualification, which, on the basis of the bilateral agreement, are required for the completion of the study program during your mobility at the host university. At the end of the study program, the two partner institutions will issue each student the national title, following the bilateral agreement rules.

The Double Degree programme with YHU

The Double Degree programme with the Yerevan Haybusak University (YHU) requires that students enrolled at the University of Teramo (UniTe) spend a minimum of two semesters at the YHU starting from the beginning of the 1st semester of the 5th year. During this time, they have to follow classes, take exams, and carry out the research project for the bachelor's degree thesis in Armenia.

Students enrolled at the Yerevan Haybusak University must spend a minimum of four semesters at the University of Teramo, starting from the 1st semester of their 5th year. During this time, they have to follow classes, take exams, and carry out the research project for the Master's degree thesis in Italy.

At the end of the study programme, the University of Teramo and the Yerevan Haybusak University will issue both the Italian and Armenian national degrees in law, in accordance with the bilateral agreement.
