Degree Course Class No. LM-59 – Public and Business Communication and Advertising
In big and medium-sized enterprises, business communication is a fundamental driving force for managing and developing both internal organization and external relations; similarly, in smaller enterprises, the importance of communication is ever more stressed.
This Second-Cycle Degree Course, completely delivered in English, aims at training managers in the fields of business communication, products and international development – that is, global managers able to handle the internal and external communication of businesses, to deal with business specific projects and products, as well as technological and cultural products. This course provides students with the economic and managerial knowledge necessary to cope with business world effectively; furthermore, it enables students to gain expertise in the following areas: human resource management, local and international development, decision-taking processes, semiotic analysis of advertising and consumer behaviour, market research techniques, organizational ICTs, arts and music production management.
Through purposely-thought elective teaching/learning activities and vocational activities, this course aims at being a bridge with the business world thanks to professionals’ classes and workshops. Teaching activity will focus mainly on case-studies through laboratories and practical lessons; it will be student-oriented, with periodically-administered check-in interim tests in all course units and a constant use of the e-learning platform. Furthermore, students will experience a stimulating and friendly environment, where traineeships in enterprises or abroad are actively promoted. All students will be supported, over their academic career, by customised services aimed at guiding them, fostering their success during the studies as well as strengthening and developing their skills – from English language mastery to other individual and relational skills, highly requested in job interviews and usable in labour market.
This Degree Course will be delivered only in English.
The enrolment in a Degree Course delivered in English allows to benefit from a 50% refund of university fees, if a student obtains a language certification equal to or higher than B2 over the regular length of the Degree Course. Students can benefit from 100% refund (except for compulsory fees) if they spend one term in a university abroad.
