The University of Teramo, in collaboration with the Maiella National Park, organized for the current academic year the Advanced Course in Health Management of Wildlife, Conservation Medicine and Public Health. As part of this course, we have planned an intensive seminar that will focus on recent developments in conservation medicine and wildlife health. This seminar will focus on these main topics:

  • Advanced in wildlife health and conservation medicine;
  • Capture and handling techniques and wildlife health research;
  • Infectious and parasitic diseases and wildlife-livestock interface;
  • Perspective in ecosystem health, environmental change and human-wildlife interface.

Our goal is to bring together wildlife researchers, professionals, zoologists and vets working in the field along with students, to encourage learning, inspiration and to discuss new topics in wildlife health and conservation medicine.
The scientific program will be a mix of keynote lectures, contributed presentations, panel discussions, and interactive sessions.

 

 

 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its global implications, we have come to the decision to postpone the "Conservation medicine and wildlife health international seminar"

  • The new dates for Seminar are 16-17 June 2022.
  • The new Abstract deadline is 25 April 2022 and the new Registration deadline is 29 May 2022.

Your Seminar registration will be transferred to the new Seminar dates
