I sistemi agro-alimentari sono in continua evoluzione per adattarsi a una delle grandi sfide della nostra era, la sfida "Food-Health-Planet". Per avere soluzioni vincenti, in grado di far fronte alle grandi sfide del settore, sono necessari talenti che abbiano le competenze e le conoscenze giuste. Per questa ragione, EIT Food ha creato Innovator Fellowship, un programma pensato per ricercatori dottorandi, post-doc e professionisti del settore agro-alimentare che desiderano generare impatto positivo nella filiera agro-alimentare, trasformando progetti di ricerca in idee di business.

 

La caratteristica unica di Innovator Fellowship è di dare vita a team multidisciplinari e forti, che si consolidano lungo l’intero percorso, cominciando dall’Hackathon e continuando con le altre due tappe del programma:

  • il training one-to-one, che prevede il supporto di mentor esperti/e ai singoli team nel processo di conversione che porta la loro l’idea a diventare una solida proposta di business;
  • i due boot camp, sessioni che hanno l’obiettivo di irrobustire le competenze e conoscenze dei fellows per prepararli ad avviare il loro business alla fine del percorso.

We are happy to announce the new edition of the EIT Food Innovator Fellowship 2022!

The Agri-Food systems are in a storm to change and adapt in response to one of the grand challenges of our era, the "Food-Health-Planet" challenge. Talents with the right skills and competencies are sought to propose winning solutions to tackle this grand challenge in its multiple dimensions.

 

For this reason, EIT Food created the Innovator Fellowship, a programme designed for PhD students, Postdoctoral Fellows and Young Professionals wishing to impact the Agri-Food systems by transforming lab ideas into business ideas.

 

The critical feature of the Innovator Fellowship programme is the creation of strong and multi-disciplinary working teams, beginning with a Hackathon and continuing with the other two cornerstones of the programme:

  • one-to-one support to the teams by expert mentorsto turn initial ideas into mature business propositions.
  • two advanced training boot camps aimed to boost competenciesand skills, delivered by high-level trainers.

To facilitate the participation to the Innovator Fellowship programme, EIT Food in collaboration with Teramo University will provide further insights into the programme on the 9th of May from 12 to 13 CET. The event will be held in hybrid mode, in presence at the University of Teramo or online through the G-meet platform. 

 

At the end of the event, there will be an aperitivo for those who will attend the event in presence.

 In a dedicated event the programme will be presented an interested researcher. Testimonials from previous editions will be online to tell the benefit, skills and competence acquired with the participation in Innovator Fellowship.
