AG-LAB

Ag-Lab is a project in the field of Higher Education  that has been approved in the framework of  Erasmus + Capacity Building  programme Key action 2 : Cooperation for Innovation and exchange of good practices, Capacity building in the field of higher education.

The  full title of the project  is "Ag-Lab Improving skills in laboratory practice for agro-food specialists in eastern Europe" started in October 2017 for 3 years.  It is coordinated by the University of Ljubljana (UL), Slovenia and involves partners from Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Poland, Italy and France.

The aim of the project is to develop innovative approaches for teaching of courses specialised in laboratory practices in the agro-food sector in Ucraine, Moldova and Georgia.  Official control labs of the three countries also participate to the project.

The final goal is the implementation of Master Courses with subjects, structure and laboratory practices comparable to EU countries.

During the project,  different periods of laboratory training are envisaged  in EU countries, including the University of Teramo that will work mainly on the validation of courses and training in the areas of  food technology and quality and safety control of foods. Training sessions in Moldova, Ucraine and Georgia  will also take place every 6 months with the partecipation of experts from the University of Teramo.
