Il Dott. Mazzatenta si è laureato all’Univ. Pisa con una tesi sull’orientamento e la fisiologia dei sistemi sensoriali nei Cetacei, Dip. di Etologia, Ecol. ed Evol., ha svolto il dottorato di ricerca su “La comunicazione chimica nei Molluschi Polmonati”, è stato selezionato per i corsi internazionali di alta formazione: “Physiology: The Biochemical and Molecular Basis of Cell Signaling” presso il Marine Biological Laboratory, USA e il “Sensory Ecology” alla Lund Univ., Svezia dove ha avuto come maestri i principali esperti internazionali, tra cui il premio nobel 2004 per la medicina e fisiologia. Nel Sett. di Neurobiologia della Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati (S.I.S.S.A.) di Trieste ha lavorato sui “Meccanismi di trasduzione dell’organo Vomeronasale”. Ha svolto e svolge una intensa attività didattica come professore a contratto di Neuroscienze, Neuroscienze Comportamentali, Neuroscienze Comportamentali Avanzate, Fisiologia Sensoriale, Psicobiologia, Psicobiologia e Psicologia Animale, ed è relatore di numerose tesi di laurea triennale, specialistica, di Master e di Dottorato e di ricerca in diverse Univ italiane. Inoltre, ha applicato le sue conoscenze allo studio delle nanotecnologie e presso la Ferrari per il Man Machine Interface. Il Dott. Mazzatenta è autore di oltre 50 su prestigiosissime riviste con peer rewiew system.
Dr. Mazzatenta graduated from the Univ. Pisa with a thesis on the orientation and physiology of sensory systems in Cetaceans, Dept. of Ethology, Ecol. and Evol., he carried out the research doctorate on “Chemical communication in the Pulmonate Mollusks”, he was selected for the international courses of higher education: “Physiology: The Biochemical and Molecular Basis of Cell Signaling” at the Marine Biological Laboratory, USA and the "Sensory Ecology" at the Lund Univ., Sweden where he has had as master the main international experts, including the 2004 Nobel Prize for Medicine and Physiology. In the Department of Neurobiology of the International School for Advanced Studies (S.I.S.S.A.) of Trieste, he worked on the "Transduction mechanisms of the Vomeronasal organ". He has carried out and carries out an intense didactic activity as a contract professor of Neuroscience, Behavioral Neuroscience, Advanced Behavioral Neuroscience, Sensory Physiology, Psychobiology, Animal Psychology and Animal Psychology, and is a speaker on numerous three-year, specialist, Master's and Doctoral theses and theses. of research in various Italian Univ. Furthermore, he applied his knowledge to the study of nanotechnologies and at Ferrari for the Man Machine Interface. Dr. Mazzatenta is the author of over 50 on very prestigious magazines with peer rewiew system.
