Established the Consortium of local authorities in support of the " University of Teramo Libera Università” with the introduction of the first degree courses in "Law" "Interpreting and Foreign Languages".
1963
Approved the consortium of the Libera Università of the Abruzzo region.
1964
Approved the Interprovincial Consortium of Chieti, Pescara and Teramo.
1965
Established the Libera Università degli Studi "Gabriele d'Annunzio" with the affiliation of a Law Course held in Teramo.
1969
Established The Faculty of Political Science.
1980
Establishment of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in collaboration with the University of Bologna.
1982
the Libera Università “Gabriele d'Annunzio” University becomes a State University.
1989
Established The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
1993
Establishment of The University of Teramo independently from "Gabriele d'Annunzio" University by the Ministerial Decree and recognized as a State University with degree courses in Law, Political Science and Veterinary Medicine.
1997
Established the degree course in "Communication Science", the nucleus of the future Faculty of Communication Science.
1998
Inauguration of the first building on “Coste Sant'Agostino” Campus which hosts the Faculty of Law.

Inaugurated The Faculty of Agriculture, which in 2013, is named Faculty of Bioscience and agro-food Environmental Technology.

Introduced the Specialization Course in ""Reproductive Biotechnologies".
2000
Established the University “ Language Centre”.
2002
Establishment of the Faculty of Communication Science.
2003
Inauguration of the second building on “Coste Sant'Agostino” Campus which hosts the Faculty of Political Science and Communication Science.

Beginning of construction of the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
2010
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is accredited by 'EAEVE” (European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education).
2013
Inauguration of the University Teaching Veterinary Hospital located in Piano D'Accio, Teramo.
2014
The two Bachelor (three year) Degree courses and a Master (two year) Degree in "Food Science and Technology" are the first to receive, at an international level, the European accreditation, according to the EQAS scheme- Food Award (European Quality Assurance for Food Studies Programme).
2015
Two Master Degree courses in English "Reproductive Biotechnologies" and "Management and Business Communication" were activated.
