Department of Law

The Department of Law of the University of Teramo has a long-standing tradition in legal studies, with aa additional focus on economics and business. Its mission is to develop and disseminate knowledge in its areas of activity, with an eye on the cross-cutting themes that characterise our times: digitalisation, sustainability, social equality and international cooperation.

 Combining historical and regulatory approaches with the perspectives of economic and social sciences, the Department builds the ideal environment for a critical interpretation of ongoing legal and institutional challenges. In so doing, the Department contributes to the social, cultural, and economic development of the region, while maintaining an active presence in national and international academic networks.

 

The Department offers a complete educational pathway covering both undergraduate and postgraduate levels:

 

First-Cycle Degree (3 years) (undergraduate)

  • Legal Services
  • Environmental and Energy Law

Single-Cycle Master's Degree (5 years) (graduate)

  • Law

Second-Cycle Degree (2 years) (postgraduate)

  • Law, Economics, and Business Strategy

 

The Department boasts a post-graduate programme known  as “Scuola di specializzazione”  (Specialization schools): “Administrative Law and Science”.
